Little wealth have we but it’s more than enough;
for our hearts are full as the sea.
Our family, wide as an ocean stretch,
far as a mind can be.
And all our friends, like moons and stars,
revolve in a timeless way; through our lives and times
in an endless parade, as bright as a Summers day.
The searching remarks of a little child,
or the hug from one of this throng.
Mean more to us than the gleam of gold.
They’re the music of our life’s song.
