A Haiku

Riches are one thing,

Being happy another.

Try to understand. (Or be grateful.)

A Haiku

Spring in my garden.

Flowers bloom in bright rainbows.

Scare away Winter.

Time

As fleeting the time flies,

a small piece of nothing,

a drip from a faucet,

snow flake on the sea.

So small, a frail moment,

that no one will notice.

Yet one marks a starting

another an end.

So how should we measure –

the minutes and hours

that make up a decade,

an age or a life span?

A century, an eon,

a flash in ones memory,

a light year of time

or the blink of an eye?

Each in it’s context

is not that important.

Yet each may bear witness

of a beginning or end.

Mariachi Blessing

Mariachis blessed,

he played his fiddle softly.

A gift for his God.
